Still comes no answer to my greatest question -
Am I two clocks, or am I only one?
I know my Body is wound up to go
A certain number of days, and all is done.
But is my mind another clock, wound up
To add its chimes to those immortal spheres;
One clock for Earth, to run its numbered days,
The other for my more-than-mortal years?
That is my question; this, my only finding -
One clock or two, there'll be no further winding.
