Coraz to dalsze, cichsze i bledsze,
I ty tak bliska, a tak bezbrzeżna
I taka chłodna, i taka śnieżna...
Komu uwierzyć? Z kim się sprzymierzyć?
W czyje ramiona wichrem uderzyć?
Dzień taki cichy, dal taka sina,
Dzwoni nade mną srebrna godzina...
Jak kielich wina wychyl mnie do dna,
Moja niewierna, śnieżna i chłodna,
Na twoich białych piersi noclegu,
Pieśni te będą jak krew na śniegu.
