Jak ciche są te góry, gdy leżą pod śniegiem,
zaszyte w biały całun kosówkowym ściegiem!
Choć nieżywe na pozór, są tylko w letargu.
Czasem wstrząsną się, z piersi zrzucą stosy piargów
i przeciągną się we śnie.
Wówczas jak garść liści
spadają z nich najlepsi, najpierwsi turyści...
Towarzysze ich potem zaszywają w płótno
i niosą ku nizinom ścieżką bladą, smutną...
