George

George własnym ciałem nakrył psa i dwoje dzieci.
"Scottie" i "babies" żyją - ale George zabity.
O najłaskawsze z ramion, których rozłożystość
Broniła zwierzęcego i ludzkiego życia,
Łącząc te, w oczach świata nierówne, wartości,
W przedśmiertelnym olśnieniu pokorną mądrością!...
Wzięto dzieci. Pozostał "scottie", smutnie wyjąc -
- Ktoś biegł, ostrożnie niosąc "cup of tea" dla George`a.
