Jeśli chcesz - będę czekał o tej samej godzinie,
Będę czekał, gdy wieczór twój zaułek już minie,
Zawsze z myślą jednaką, jak wichura upartą,
Jak wichura natrętną, pod tą bramą otwartą.

Jeśli chcesz - będę klęczał u twych drzwi na kilimie,
Będę z tęsknot wczorajszych zcałowywał twe imię,
I twe ręce - te białe, i twe palce - te wonne,
Zaczaruję modlitwą, jak najbielszą Madonnę.

A gdy będziesz już święta od tych słów miłowania,
Ja nie wytrwam w zawiei, co modlitwom się wzbrania
I zaczaję się nocą, i podpatrzę cię nagą,
I wysmagam twe ciało niewidzialną zniewagą.
