Spoglądamy ku sobie samotrzeć;

Zawładnęły życiem moim zmory
I trucizny mieszkają w mym chlebie;
Jestem chory, jestem bardzo chory
Na istnienie bez ciebie.

Dzień się za dnia między nami mroczy,
Noc nie dnieje nigdy między nami,
Siedzę obok, patrzę w twoje oczy,
A ty jesteś za górami, za lasami!
