Powiedzcie mi, jakiż ma sens to?
Zaledwie jesienny wiatr powiał,
A trup już ściele się gęsto
W szpitalach resortu zdrowia.
Jedni widzą w tym dopust boży,
Inni - wyżów i niżów skutki,
Rozsypują się ciężko chorzy,
A ja jestem wesolutki.

Coraz to kogoś z zawałem
Do windy dźwigają nosze,
Ja właśnie też zawał miałem
I też umieram. O - proszę!
Lekarze, siostry, salowe
Wylewają łzy na wyprzódki.
Słabnie puls, brak mi tchu, tracę mowę...
Ale jestem wesolutki.

Nie pomogła już strofantyna,
Mam ciemność dokoła siebie,
Zaświatowy czas się zaczyna,
Do zobaczenia więc - na pogrzebie.
Zebrało się ludzi niemało,
Spadły na trumnę twarde grudki,
W ziemi leży moje martwe ciało,
A ja jestem wesolutki.
