At evens with the copious April clouds;
With meek, wild face he stands; and in his eye
Deeps where the empyrean ever broods,
And in his mouth some femininity. —
Ah! for we know his secret, hath not life,
So strangely shpd his feet lest, suddenly,
He should remember him — the babbling strife
Of Venus* sparrows — lest he stoop and fly,
Chafing at earth, into that April sky?
