Śmierć - to czucie roślinne,
Miłość - czucie człowiecze -
W roślinne, a nie w inne
Ciało duch się oblecze.

Niech oczami głodnemi
Świat ten czuję i widzę,
Zanim spłynę do ziemi
Po zielonej łodydze.

I niech potem się stanie,
To co stać się powinno:
Jeszcze jedno rozstanie
Z własną duszą bezczynną.

Chodzą zioła po świecie,
I rośliny, i maki,
A wy o tem nie wiecie
Kto to taki, kto taki...

Zioła czynią pokutę
Oślepłemi rosami,
Ale soki zatrute
Płyną snami za nami...

Piję soki te płynne,
Miłość głuszę i gaszę,
Wskrzeszam dusze roślinne,
Inne, inne, niż nasze.

I już tak mnie zostawcie,
Byście w ziemię nie wrośli,
Miłość ludzką wybawcie
Od uroków złych roślin.
