Gdy nocą letni omdlewa znój,
Twe usta szemrzą: "tyś mój, tyś mój",

Twe usta czynią tajemny znak,
Abym całował je tak - a - tak.

Patrzę i milczę, klękam i łkam,
Przybliż się do mnie, jam taki sam,

Wyciągam ręce i szukam w krąg,
Wyciągam ręce do twoich rąk...

Widzę, poznaję usta i twarz,
Naszą rozłąkę i obłęd nasz,

Te same usta i chłód ten sam,
Patrzę i milczę, klęczę i łkam.

Z miłych najmilsza, ach, zbliż się, zbliż,
Oto zostawiam róże i krzyż,

Oto zostawiam na wieczny czas
Ból, co na wieczność połączył nas.

Mam dla twych pieszczot gościnny dom,
Ciało nieobce jawie i snom,

Dłonie znajome twym dłoniom dwóm,
Zapach lipcowy i leśny szum.
