Welcome, and thanks for looking at the pages of Le Coran. Some of the changes seem perfectly obvious, like adding the accent on "Évangile". This does include File:Le Coran.pdf (linked from the head page for this work) which may address your concerns about being true to the translator’s text.

May I suggest that a better place than the Main Page talk page for raising questions for general discussion is Wikilivres:Community Portal. Eclecticology 23:17, 7 June 2012 (EDT)

Hello, I don't think this is valuable or acceptable contribution. Thanks, Yann 03:17, 8 June 2012 (EDT)
I found that comment puzzling. Venturing into a theological controversy about the relationship between Mohammed and Allah is bound to draw the suspicion of those who are not familiar. This site is intended to present works as they are.
Trying to type the French "ô" and ending up with the Romanian "ţ" suggests to me that the language settings on your keyboard are not correct. I generally have mine set to UTF-8. Fot the character "ô" I use "Alt + 0244". Wikilivres also has a drop down menu near the bottom of the page to make access to the special chracters of other languages easier.
Djinns are best avoided by not drinking near the keyboard. Djinns are no tonic for a keyboard. Eclecticology 05:52, 8 June 2012 (EDT)
You will understand that both Yann and I are senior citizens of the Wiki Wars, and as such have the experience to recognize that certain strong lines of thought inspire equally strong antagonistic responses. Any kind of partisanship, especially from a newcomer to this project, leaves us duly suspicious. My attendance at Wikimanias in Alexandria and Haifa did leave me more open to an appreciation of middle eastern sensitivities, at least enough to tread carefully about such subjects. I have agreed with the Wikipedian principle of the Neutral Point of View from the beginning, though it is sometimes difficult to choose between conflicting neutralities. As to this project and Wikisource, we have been lucky to avoid most of the NPOV problems that are endemic to the Wikipedias. We reproduce what others have said, without attempting to assess the orthodoxy or heresy of their views.
One suggestion I would make about the typography problem you have encountered when it happens frequently is to copy the whole text into a plain text editor and use its search and replace function. The result can be used to overwrite the old wiki text. As long as the plain text editor respects wiki markup and does not try to introduce its own peculiarities that should work just fine.
