- Siddhartha, Pas dans le DP au Canada. Yann 1 mai 2006 à 11:11 (EDT)
- Works under Category:PD-release should be either sent to Wikisource if with evidence of licensing or deleted if no licensing evidence:
- Days of War, Nights of Love
- Le Coran
- Letter to a Digne official, about his work
- Steps Toward Inner Peace
- The Man Who Planted Trees
- Étapes vers la paix intérieure
- Image:Albert Camus.jpg is already on Wikimedia Commons. As we can readily display Commons images, I see no more need of keeping it. --Jusjih 03:51, 1 December 2009 (UTC)
- The problem is in the proof... I am pretty certain for texts 4, 5, 6, 7 above, without having a definitive proof, and I made lengthy research about le Coran. Yann 12:57, 27 February 2010 (UTC)
- Category:和諧社會 (en.wp:Harmonious society) is being discussed for deletion on Chinese Wikisource due to likely violation of the neutral point of view. I am reporting it here so if deleted from Chinese Wikisource, I propose to also delete it here.--Jusjih 03:42, 13 January 2010 (UTC)

- I'm prepared to delete the Giono material since it has already been included in both French and English Wikisource. This includes the "(film)" where the basis for this is unclear. I believe the film was made after his death. Eclecticology 14:57, 21 May 2012 (EDT)

- I'm inclined to keep the Camus image. I agree that we should not become a general repository of images that can go on Commons, but a single photo to illustrate an author page should be within acceptable parameteers. Eclecticology 14:57, 21 May 2012 (EDT)
- The Chavez speech is already on the Spanish and English Wikisources. In the absence of a good reason why it can't be on French Wikisource, it will remain here only for the next month. Eclecticology 15:10, 21 May 2012 (EDT)
- Deleted. Eclecticology 12:45, 26 June 2012 (EDT)
- I would keep the Kornilov material on a PD-Canada basis. A release by the author would be better only if it can be supported by documentation. Eclecticology 15:32, 21 May 2012 (EDT)
- Days of War ... is already in Wikisource, and can be deleted here. Eclecticology 15:52, 21 May 2012 (EDT)

- There are a lot of mixed messages about Le Coran, and French Wikisource merely links back here. I would despair of getting any clear answer about this. I would keep it for now, and will give further thought to what might be a suitable licence. Eclecticology 16:32, 21 May 2012 (EDT)
- The Peace Pilgrim items are already on the English and French Wikisourcs, and thus will be deleted. Eclecticology 16:42, 21 May 2012 (EDT)

Articles issus de Wikipedia, dans Category:Copied from Wikipedia
- Alsace-Lorraine, Alsace, Haute-Alsace, Basse-Alsace

Eclecticology 19:06, 19 May 2012 (EDT)

Baudelaire/Kline, NC licences
The following pages:
are all poems of Charles Baudelaire that were not a part of The Flowers of Evil, translated by A. S. Kline. This is under a non-commercial licence, and no longer acceptable. The original French, and the illustrations are clearly in the public domain. I have not found PD versions of the English verses, but since they are mostly quatrains it is entirely conceivable that PD versions of these may have been appeared in magazines shortly after the French versions appeared. Is it too encyclopedic to be here?--Jusjih 22:36, 4 January 2015 (PST)
- Being too encyclopedic (whatever that means) should not in itself be a reason for deletion. A more certain reason for deleting this material is that it is his own original work. He hasn't done anything here since 2011, and I think that his Art indien has also been on other sites, including Wikibooks. Eclecticology 01:05, 6 January 2015 (PST)
- And I can't see a copyright notice, though of course if it's been on Wikibooks it must be under an acceptable licence.--Poetlister 09:37, 1 March 2015 (PST)

No derivative licences are no longer acceptable. This instance is particularly anomalous. A translation is a deriative work, and as such is a copyright infringement. Eclecticology 10:43, 23 April 2015 (PDT)
- Deleted This is pretty straight-forward. As that page says, "Everyone is permitted to copy and distribute verbatim copies of this license document, but changing it is not allowed." I'm sure the FSF would like Chinese readers to be able to understand their perspective but it would have to be through an official translation or simple quotation and explanation. —Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 19:16, 23 April 2015 (PDT)

NC licence no longer acceptable. This is also stated to be incomplete, and hasn't been worked on since 2009. Eclecticology 17:30, 29 April 2015 (PDT)
